Rebel in the Rye
Just watched Rebel in the Rye. A bit that stuck in my head: “That’s one of the things I loved most about writing. Your mind keeps on working on your stories whether you’ve got a pen or a gun in your hand. It just never stops creating.”
How lucky are we to be given the most psychedelic, kaleidoscopic, unpredictable labyrinth of a juxtaposition of tunnels and white luminous ‘black’ holes and sheer open space, in what we call our minds?... a real dichotomy of ‘safe haven’ and extraordinary freedom!
Of course we are willing to write/create and get nothing in return. In truth, there is no such thing. We get a thousandfold more.
